About Catalyst Social Work
About me
I grew up in a small Wheatbelt town in Western Australia and moved to Perth to become a Social Worker. I have been lucky enough to work in many different roles over the years in Family and Domestic Violence, Community Mental Health, Palliative Care and Disability, supporting people from all walks of life. I’ve always been curious and genuinely interested in understanding others, and I find that a little humour and honesty go a long way in building real connections.

I am a University Qualified Social Worker and my practice is grounded in compassionate, collaborative and inclusive care. I’m flexible in my approach, tailoring support to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each person, while being inclusive of all abilities, races, genders, and sexualities.

I help people find practical, client led solutions that support self acceptance and connection in their communities. Whether it’s navigating systems, building life skills, or providing consistent support, I work alongside people to reach their goals. I learn from the people I work with every day and my hope is for more empathy, curiosity, and a sense of humour in our daily lives because I believe we are most content when we feel safe, supported, and understood by others.
